My family is similar to yours. We all help each other out {with most help coming to us from my parents}. But isn't that what family is supposed to be about? To me, I don't think family is just your wife/husband and kids. I see it as more than just the independent family that the book talked about. Family is such an important thing, for so many reasons. Especially in the world we live in!
