Here are some free movies to watch on the UofO campus. These movies are open to the community. Donations are appreciated and accepted.

The UofO film coordinator shows foreign films and independent films (non mainstream films) on the UofO campus on Fridays. This Friday The show is a Micheal Moore film called: Roger and Me, they will also be showing a preview of Micheal Moore's new T.V. show called the Awful Truth. This movie & preview will be shown at 7pm in rm. 180 PLC. This is the big building next to the Knight law library.
Starting May 3rd, the films will be shown outdoors on the big main lawn in front of the Knight library, they will begin at 9pm.

The UofO Sociology department hosts films on Thursday nights in rm. 180 PLC at 7pm. The film this Thursday night will be a 1953 movie called Wages of Fear. It's all about controversies of corporate, big business institutions.

I rented a new release movie from Blockbuster called: Bread and Roses. It was about oppressed workers coming together to protest their working environments/conditions. These protestors get quite creative in how they reach their oppressors. There were some good ideas shown, plus many different issues addressed. may like watching it. The protestors are successful! Some of you may enjoy watching this movie.
