I don't agree with everything you read in text books is true. Maybe it is true to the person who wrote it but not to the reader. Readers can't believe everything a person writes. First, and reader should think, think about each statement. Readers should not be followers, but they should also be open minded. Even facts can change over time, as the time changes facts change. There are many things people write that are not always true.
