Not Everything you read in textbooks is true. Infact, a great deal of it is data distorted by the writers bias. In most science books the facts disputing traditional ideas about evolution are often overlooked and the ideas are taught as fact, when in reality thier is very little material backing these particular aspects. American History is told from an Amercian point of view which glamorizes some acts that if told from a Native American or European point of view, may have been veiwed as barbaric or treacherous. Personal morals and beliefs are difficult to seperate yourself from, and this is just as true for the writers of text books.
