I completely believe research is an act of discovery, many times I have learned a lot about myself while researching something else. For instance fall term I took a religions of India class, where I learned a lot about other religions. I had never been exposed to any religion other than christianity and I found I agreed with many aspects of these interesting religions. For our final in the class we had to write a paper about Buddhism, and include fact and our experience with the religion, I personally had a lot of growth while writing the paper and while taking the class.
