The topic of research is basically finding a information that supports your opinion of the subject at hand. I agree fully , what point would it be if you had to argue a point that you didn't agree with? If you were a shiite muslim you would not be trying to convince others to be christian. Or sunni for that matter. Also it would be hard to do even if if wasn't a topic that you disagreed with that much. If you were not even interested in the topic I think it would be hard too.
