You know, my three year old boy, Collin,
always says he wants to be a girl
because he doesn't like boys. And "Why
don't girls have penises?" And he wants
to cut his off so he can be a girl. This
DOES worry me. However, he still plays
with trucks and balls and watches those
videos of real construction sites and stuff.
And please don't think that I push that on
him! I think those movies are incredibly
boring and I try to get him to watch Alladin
or Lion King. When he was about 8
months old he'd see a car or truck on the
road and get totally excited. And
tractors!—let me tell you, he would
practically hyperventilate! It amazed me
how he just automatically liked those
things and I didn't have to condition him at
all. His favorite toys are trucks, tractors,
and stethescopes. He likes to play doctor.
However manly that may be, he also likes
to pretend he's having a baby. Go figure!
