I have yet to read the chapter, but I COMPLETELY agree with you. I am so against male dominance. I believe that a woman can do ANYTHING a man does if she really wants to. On the news last night was a story about a woman in the construction business. She now owns her own business but had previously worked for others. She said that the most important part of working in a male dominated industry is to keep your sense of humor. Mainly because of the men who feel threatened by her presence and tend to make a joke of her doing "their" job.

I have two daughters and hope to instill in them that if they want to be a fire"woman" or a construction worker or an electrician, plumber, etc. they most certainly can!!
