I think our society is the HH's main
problem. It put them in the box.

How fair is it to criticize the behavior of a
guerilla after you have put it in a cage? To
make matters even worse, how fair is it to
criticize this guerilla when you put it in a
cage in the middle of a jungle. It can see
many others running around, yet it can
only get so far. And when it stops trying to
escape, run, or behave like the uncaged
guerilla then we say, "this is your problem
guerilla, you need to try harder, adjust
your attitude, think outside of the cage."

There is a study on a dog where they
placed a bowl of food just out of reach of
a painful chain (it may have been electric,
I do not remember). The dog was hungry
yet it experienced pain every time it tried to
eat. The dog gave up after a period of
time. The scientists then moved the dish
close to the dog, but it never even tried for
the dish again. I am not sure if the dog
was left to die or not, but left to his own
decision, he would have.

How many of these kids are like the dog?
The HH have been in poverty a lot longer
than the Brothers. Every time they saw
chances come up for friends, parents,
siblings, they saw them shot down... no
dreams achieved, not career goals
fulfilled... you can't help but wonder when
a kid has to call it quits before the
emotional pain kills them... unless it did
kill them and that is what the issue is...

It makes you think....
