I also think that to say the HH are communitarian is to say that they have their own community. I think that they believe each one on his own is worth nothing, while being part of the group gives them a place to belong and a source of strength they wouldn't have as individuals. That affects their life chances because they feel they need each other and can't make it on their own. Therefor, they give up their dreams for that of the group. They are afraid to try and succeed/fail on their own with a path they choose. They prefer to hang with the guys and be part of something and have a sense of belonging, knowing that there will always be someone to stand up for/with them.
