I already like Mr. MacLeod better than Eitzen and Zinn. So far I have not seen the bias that Eitzen and Zinn exhibited.

Such as on page 240 in regards to the order theory "Although there probably is some truth to this argument, the analyst of society must also ask: ...."

I'm not saying the order theory is right but why does Eitzen & Zinn present it if they scoff at it?

They also on page 267 say the lower-lower class are "looked down on by all others in the community. The live on the other side of the tracks. They are considered by other people as undesirable as playmates, friends, organization members, or marriage partners."

They are stereotyping everyone but the lower-lower class there. Where is the love?

I like "Ain't No Makin' It" a lot better. MacLeod does not seem to generalizing or stereotyping anyone.
