Although I do agree with a lot of the culture and agency theories, I'd have to say that the Bowles and Gintis theory most accurately describes Social Reproduction. Alas, it's very sad my friends, yet all too true.

Yes, I'd like to think that our agency has more of a role, but when it comes down to it, the "hidden curriculum" seems to play too large a part. And of course, I know everything isn't deterministic, but a lot of it is.
