Because of the different languages used in home and at school, the children begin to fail at an early age and in return, remain a "failure" all through out life. This is mainly for the black working class. The white working class parents use a different type of language for their children which is similar to what is expected at school, ensuring their success. By doing this, social reproduction theorist show that formal education keeps lower status students low and keep them there in that class all throughout life.

I cannot say for sure if this is true. It sounds like a good theory and makes sense, but I do not have enough life experience, have not traveled enough, or seen enough to believe this to be right or wrong.
