I think Amy makes a great point. I think that jobs do base their structure a little off of schools. To me it would be hard not to use that system because it is an organized one. Bowles and Gintis, however do make a good point. Certain schools do realize that their students are probably going to grow up and work in certain types of jobs and for those students it is a good thing to get them ready for the real world. All in all I have to agree with Amy more, but I still think Bowles and Gintis make a good point in some instances.
