I see your points, but I agree with Domhoff more. For the most part, wealth dictates one's role and their attitude reflects on that. The wealthy will be making the decisions for a long time coming.

I don't think Domhoff was trying to stereotype rich people as having certain attitudes. He was moreover talking about the power of their role.

It's crazy though, what kind of attitudes the poor can have on the rich. In terms of the sept. 11th attack, I've heard people call the survivors "hero's" (which to me makes no sense, because I wouldn't call myself a hero if I was working and died all of the sudden). And I've also heard people say they are glad, because they were just making money for themselves anyway (which is even more contrived).

It's all so...wacky.
