I think Domhoff is correct in theory that the rich have exclusive clubs and socialize with other people of the same class and marry within the same class. If any of the members decides to socialize or even marries outside of the class, they are scoffed at and ridiculed for their actions. The mentality of most of the rich class think they are better than the other classes because they have more money, more prestige, and more power. I also agree that the rich have more advantages such as better education and opportunities to become whatever profession they choose. Most likely they take over the family business and continue doing so for generations to come. I agree with what the author is trying to say. That doesn't necessarily mean that it has to be that way. I think people can change, that society can change, and the mentalities of the different classes can change. Instead of segregating into different groups, why not form into one group, one alliance, so that we all can be treated equally and not treated the way that it should be in the eyes of the misinformed.
