There is a myth that poor people do not want to work, so that they can collect unemployment or collect food stamps. This statement can not be true. Because millions of americans either work at jobs that lead nowhere with no benefits and getting paid minimum or worse, or they are not working at all due to lack of jobs available. The poor must struggle to survive and support their families at minimum wage and the rich feed of the labors of the poor to get pay raises. Which leaves the poor once again to be abandoned and thrown to the curb. So to say that the poor are lazy and are not willing to work is a bunch of crap. They are the people, if given a chance, are the backbone to the working force. They work extremely hard to a next to nothing wage and the rich prosper through their so called idle hands, so that they can get their 54% pay increase every year. Compare to the clock punchers who only get a 5% pay increase and a swift kick in the ass.
