It could still be called a "public school" but cause it would be paid with the publics money. Taxes should be like the United Way. We should be allowed to send a percentage of our taxes to the organizations we feel deserve them.
My high school was condemned and had to have supports built in it so it could open for the next year. We didn't have enough money in the school budget for paper so we never had handout or tests handed to us. Everything was handed in on personal notebook paper and I still got an education.
I'd be for a sales tax if they dropped the income tax. If you give politicians more money they'll just waste it.
If people who could not afford kids would stop having kids, the schools would do a lot better and there would be a lot less poor people.
