Dirghayu + King Brahmadatta<br>
Two kingdoms near to each other.  King Brahmadatta decides to kill the king and take the kingdom as his.<br>
The King kills Dirghayu's mother and father and takes the kingdom he is heir to.                   *** <br>

Long time passes Dirghayu works his way into being a courtside friend of King Brahmadatta.  One day on a hunting trip the king is resting and falls asleep in Dirghayu's lap.  Dirghayu thinks it is a perfect opportunity to avenge his family and take the throne that is rightfully his.  As he is ready to draw his sword to kill the king he remembers a saying his father had told him before he was killed "Not by hatred is hatred appeased, hatred is appeased by renouncing hatred."  So the king awoke and two of them agree not to kill each other and King restored Dirghayu his kingdom.  <br>
