On his way to the Guru nature and animals speak to him and reveal certain aspects of Brahman. Some of these are the four compass points are Brahman. Fire says that earth ocean and sky and heaven are Brahman. Swan says lightening and moon are Brahman. Loon says senses are Brahman. He is enlightened and realizes that he stills needs to be taught and continues to his Guru.
Upakasola: Student of Satyakama. Sat. cares about him so much he doesn't give Upak. complete knowledge so that Upak. won't leave him. Sat. leaves, Upak is so upset he asks what is Brahman. The fire he is tending speaks to him and tells him everything is Brahman.
Svetaketu: He is taught that Brahman is "That art thou". An illustration is used.

There is something there, the essence is there, the invisible Brahman. Saltwater Ill.: If you put salt in water the salt disappears but if you drink water you taste the salt.
