-Having to do with goals, and purpose, function, intention. For example: when people say "this is how it's suppose to be.

*Something said that shows a purpose.

What where humans meant to do?
-What is their characteristic activity;which sets them apart from other things.

-What do humans do best.

Aristotle's Ideal life/success:
*life as Aristotle being a philosopher
*But you also need wealth, good looks, friends, and health.

*Arete= virtue

*Eudaimonia= character trait which leads to success

-For example; if you are greedy, then you will desire more money than others.
