Pojman's Terminology:<br>

"Cultural Relativism" = Diversity Thesis-descriptive: different cultures have different beliefs.<br>
-No right or wrong. Everyone is right and believes different things.<br>

"Ethical Relativism" = Dependency Thesis-normative: Morality depends on beliefs/practices of culture or an individual. Because people have different beliefs this defines morality. What the majority believes is right. <br>
<br>
Dependency thesis does not equal Diversity thesis.<br>
<br>
  Ethical Relativism:<br>
 -Cultural Relativism   <br>
 -Subjectivism<br>
<br>
"Psychological Egoism":Every act is self-interested.<br>
Objections-<br>
1) Unfalsifiable<br>
2) Problems of language. Selfish vs unselfish.<br>
3) Is everything we do always selfish? Selfish vs self-interested.<br>
