Annette, don't feel dumb! I almost couldn't
understand Meorah's response any better
than the original paragraph. I think she
was just trying to be cute in her reply. No
biggy. I didn't see it as putting you down at
all. And I, too, couldn't understand that
paragraph when I read it in the book. But I
didn't think to ask anybody about it. I just
disregarded it and moved on.
