Hey Monica, I am Norwegian too! However my grandparents have not held on to any of the culture.

I really want to find out where in Africa my ancestors are from, but that is a dream to most Blacks and rarely achieved. Having such a scattered family history on my Black side is very frustrating to me because I want to know my history so I can pass it on to my family. Whenever I look at lynching pictures it is very strange to me because I always look at their faces with the realization that those men might be my ancestors.

Sadly enough, the people in the lynching crowds may be my ancestors as well....
