I think mixing social economic class with "personal (true) class" ( : is a serious mistake. I think the idea is opportunity here. Senor Magnifico had a unique opportunity to know someone who knows a lot of people which could have easily gotten him somewhere. Infortunadamente, Sr, Magnifico chose drugs and his sister began to have sex, yet those are completely different concerns. Since this is a step dad situation, I might look at this different, but I do not think children who do not make use of available opportunities are in a separate class. They still had the advanced opportunities that others never had the chance to come anywhere close to (except for the "oh so touching" cover story successes). I know money and morals have nothing to do with each other. The love of money is the root of all evil, but putting Sr. Magnifico into a whole new class based on individual decisions doesn't fly with me. However if he is unsupported and on his own now he is probably in a different class..... with the exception that if he decided to get some personal class and make better individual decisions he may still have access to special opportunities that are usually only available to higher class members. It is a very interesting issue though....
