Inequality is a part of social life. All societies all over the world have some system of ranking individuals and groups along a scale of superiority and inferiority. As an Indian, I am best familiarized with the Indian Caste System. Although the caste system has been outlawed for the past fifty years or so, it still remains intact in many areas and still practiced among the various castes.

The problem of inequality all over the world lies in the upper class not helping the poor. In India, the major boundaries are very well distinguished between the rich and poor. The rich and wealthy believe that the lower class is not as good as them, and therefore the boundaries. This is the root of the problem.

This form of inequality really bugs me because there is no such thing as better or worse-we are all human beings. The difference is only that some are born into the higher caste while others suffer greatly becasue of the wealthy. Inequality will remain until some action is taken against the upper class or if they happen to see how hard and sacrificing the poor are.
