Very, very true. There is a strong caste system in our society, if not as noticeable as the traditions in India. It's pretty disturbing when you think about it...

Here we have this "hero" figure George W. Bush. Ahem. I've been having hard time discovering much of anything that makes this man qualified for his position. If it weren't for America's crappy stratification and caste system, he obviously wouldn't be around. It makes me wonder what America values. Bush IS the president, so shouldn't he be some sort of pinnacle of what we value?

I'd like to think that America values more than wealth and names that we are familiar with in choosing a president.
