I just began this class, so I have not read any of the literature. From the previous two opinions, I am eager to read the books. I have experienced unequal social systems as well as equal systems (I think). I grew up in Eugene and have been very active in the NAACP. I have taken a number of interesting classes at the UO that went into social systems and I am very interested in what I will learn and share in this class. I will get back at you all when I have some new knowledge from the readings...
