I found the caste order to be very absurd. To even have a lower class than the untouchables reflects poorly on the whole social network. It deviates from individualism to that of an insect type of hyerarchy.Liken to that of a wasp colony. You have the queen, her mates,the workers whom care for the youth, then the soldiers and food suppliers. I may have this in the incorrect order but it is a comparison

In the conflict theory I do not believe the oppressed people accept their low status as natural. However, I do agree with the point Karl Marx made on page # 240 "the ruling class does use the media, schools, religion and other institutions to legitimate systems of inequality."
I also found I believe we are raised in our schools though sports and activities and yes awards To earn our merit.As a merital society we clearly set up our children in the very schools in to which they are enrolled. However, it is clear that without proper diet, proper medicine and proper attention geared at teaching the individual they will not be able to compete. Have you ever taken a test hungry or even studied hungry? It is a no brainer that we do not as humans do well without adequate nutrition.

Another view is that within a chaotic environment just struggling to have enough food shelter and ones medical needs met one may not have time to concentrate on issues of personal growth or building their person out of the constraints of poverty.Their concentration would be at the most basic level, survival. Let alone a child struggling with the events of his or her environment with chaos and lack of sleep the child may already be overloaded and may not be able to concentrate on a higher need.

The poor person may not be able to merit themselves to a better place in society;Even if the desire to do so is there.Even so, the demand is still there from the dominant class which does appear to perpetuate the problem by low wages, tax shelters for themselves and new laws based upon benefiting themselves. Why do the work yourself when you can get an uneducated malnourished person to do it at a third of the cost. I think this is wrong as well as uncivilized.
