I agree totally.

We went into this thoroughly last term about the conflict and order paradigms. It was mind boggling and it changed my mind how I view our government and the way America REALLY works. It's enough to make a person feel they are on the edge of sanity because all of the things that America tries to stand for are really a bunch of long-lost values or rules that are outlived. They were set into place to be changed along the way as we outgrew them, and then nobody ever changed them. The government and the media and most of the power mongers in America make it LAW to not change.

I used to think this way of thinking was dangerously close to being a communist and I don't believe in communism either. I really think that America needs to grow up and get a clue. We are smart enough to figure it out. What I'd like to know is how to create a peaceful reform or revelation without war.

I guess some would say we are already at war with ourselves and in a sense we are, but it hasn't changed things much.
