This sounds like a call for the breakup of the current political system and the rise of the proletariat. The sad truth is that it seems to me that any attempt from the working class to regain control of the country will be like trying to bring down a giant by pulling its leg hairs (sorry for the analogy...). The American worker has no power because it has been created to produce, and everything about that worker is associated with that value of production. His status, his political power, his life expectancy, his eating habits, the beauty of his wife, the health of his kids- you get the point. The concept of measuring a person's value by his/her ability to produce is so ingrained in the American everyday life, and until that changes, the wealthy will get wealthier and the poor will have more to say with nobody to listen.
