I had to respond to your essay. You sound as though this assignment effected you the way it did me. Your essay was very true for me as well. I felt your emotion in reading it. I have responded to the test portion but find it hard to rewrite my essay on the homework section. You have said it pretty clearly. I applaud you for what I interpreted as deep emotional writing. I also have a son that I have tried to raise in the sense that yes you are male, but it is ok to show emotion, be kind to others, help people and don't play sports if you don't want to. You don't have to do what every else is doing, you are your own person. My son is now 21 and has always been looked upon as a very caring individual. My grandmother told me once how wonderful it is to see a male that was truly caring of other peoples feelings.
