-"God is dead" = faith in God is dead. Science & human society have replaced God. Nietzsche says we "killed" God.
-Says: 1. Atheism & secularism will soon break loose & everyone will be an athiest.
2. People will begin to abandon Christian morality
3. Living things live by exploiting toher living things.

WILL TO POWER: The principle of biological life itself to grow, flourish, dominate, and exploit it's environment. Like Darwin's survival of the fittest/social darwinism.

victimizers ----- victims
users ----- usees
hawks/eagles ----- lambs.

**Masters/Slaves in our own society:
Masters:
great businessmen,CEO's,Bill Gates, military & political leaders/figures,great artists, scientists,Napolean, Wagner

Slaves:
average Joe, janitors, migrant farm workers.

**Characteristics of Masters:
physical strength, vitality, courage, self control/discipline, acts decisively, creative, pride, calousness.

**Characteristics of Slaves:
physically weak, sickness, cowardice, controlled by others, stupidity, self-decieved, mediocrity, humility, compassion, pity.

--Why didn't God "die" as Niezsche predicted?
1. Fear of death
2. Need of slave class for God
3. Thirst for meaning
4. Maybe God is there (has existed all along -- making people believe/have faith)

-DH Lawrence (Nietzsche fan) wrote "The Man Who Died." Jesus wasn't really dead - left tomb, came out changed. Lives more "life
affirming" instead of helping lost causes.

-Christianity according to Nietzsche:
1. Religion of castrationism. Takes normal people and makes them soft, weak, effeminate.
2. Sees as a form of mental illness.
3. Race of "dog-men" (obedient, eager to please)

-Nazi's inspired by Nietzsche

-Nietzsche as a soft universalist. Absolute value is Will to Power; masters create own value within scope of rule to power.
Says "What is injurious to me is injurious in itself." So, if there's something you like, then impose it on others.
