I chose the aspect of our natural resources. To an idealist the Earth may be a spiritual place full of wonder and awe. The materialist may see only products like the trees for wood or the animals for food. The materialist may only see what profit they can gain from exploiting the resources.

I would like to think that our culture lived sustainable and did not use more resources than they should. I would like to believe that the majority of our culture really loved what the Earth has to offer in a loving way. But I think we look at our resources in a materialistic manner. I think it is okay to have a house made of wood and eat animals, I do not think it is right to use way more than we need.
