A. The norm I violated was wearing a pair of sneakers with a nice dress. I went to dinner at a modest restaurant and then a movie with a mutual friend. We had both dressed extremely well with the exception of myself wearing some old muddy sneakers.

B. People's reactions were somewhat amusing. People mostly stared, but there were a few people who laughed and giggled and pointed at me whispering comments to other members of their party. It made me feel just a little self conscious of myself. Having people point their fingers at me and laugh made me feel like a bearded lady in a freak show. Overall it wasn't a horrible experience, but hopefully one that I will be able to avoid in the future.

C.I gained a better insight of the social status among society. People prejudge you by what you wear and look like before they get to know you. People who do not reform to the everyday norms of society are laughed at and made fun of.
