This is the second time I have tried to post this. How frustrating.

1. The conflict paradigm is more insightful.

2. a) Our society supports the conflict model. We are always competing for the bigger and the better. We are loosely integrated. All of our change has been abrupt. Money is always causing conflict.

2. b) Society supports the conflict model everyday. Sports are a great example of the conflict paradigm. We are taught to be competitive and dominate. We are only somewhat integrated. We like to think we are very integrated but when your at school most races and cliches stick together and do not integrate with others.

3. a & b) The order model doesn't fit how our society works. There is not huge cooperation going on. We are not highly integrated. In America there are so many types of people that we don't share the same interests and values. I don't see the society as stable .

4. I think that it takes a little of both models to work. I would like to think we could be more ordered but I think that would jeopardize free will. I believe the order model is how everyone would like it to be. It would be great if we could all just get along. :)

This was better the first time I wrote it but it is late and I cannot remember all the points I made earlier.
