1. a. What other options do Lane County women have in regards to childbirth and family planning? How are the Midwives and Nurse Practitioners of the area keeping up with the ever changing political landscape of modern medicine?

b. I think that survey and unobtrusive observation would work to research this question. I would want to talk to local midwives and LPN's and I would talk to hospital administrators.

c. I would use this research to help inform the community of the options available to them. I would try to help the plight of medical employees.

d. The only ethical dilemma I can see if being aware of patient confidentiality, but I think that people would be interested and willing to tell their own stories, therefore making that less of an issue.
