a. I would like to find out the origins of religious intolerance and why certain people can be more open minded to differences in beliefs when others can't.

b & c. The methods I would use are survey and observation. Surveys could consist of questions relating to religious back ground as well as how cultural back ground may play a role. I would also like to watch how people of differing beliefs interact and what kind of communication triggers good and bad reactions. I would try to find ways through research to assist in a better understanding of different religions in hopes that more tolerance could be practiced.

d. This would not be an easy task and I would expect to see conflict before resolution. The main thing I would want to accomplish is to educate people by allowing them to educate each other. By spending time with others of different religions people could hopefully see that there is a light of good in all. Mediation and careful observation would probably be necessary in trying to minimize conflict.
