1. Even though I would like peace, love, and understanting for everyone. I just do not see it as being realistic. There will always be some kind of conflict in society.


2. The strength of Conflict paradigm is that it gets it point accross. When people are tired of being subpressed they fight back. With either legal action or violent actions.
a. Conflict is superior because it is present in our every day life; if we like it or not. For example there are goverment system has some flaws. They do not distrube funds equally. If they did we wouldn't have homeless and hungry children on the streets. In Europe the people pay a higher tax to pay for housing, food, and social services for people that are less fortunate. They do not have the kind of homeless problem we do here.
The precentage of homeless are raising every year in the U.S.

3. The Order paradigm is unrealistic there is always going to be some type of change in society; an its not always going to be gradual. Not everyone can live in harmony all the time there is going to be some type of conflict.
b. I find the statement "that the system works. Any problems are the faults of the people not of society." every controdicting. Don't the people make up society then wouldn't it be both their faults for the problems that they have.
c. When you have a large population there is not always going to be cooperation and unity that will not happen It can not even happen when you put 10 people in a room. Everyone is going to have thier own ideas and ways of doing things. An not everyone will agree on each others ideas or ways of thinking.
4. Personally I think if we could combine order and conflict we could have a well balanced society.
