I would like to take a second to thank those of you who replied to my "Problem" Homework. Your comments are very worth sharing. Regarding the "Problems with Youth", reply that talked about children teaching others respect, and self esteem, the question still is how does society as a whole get more involved with our children?
I see no resolution in the near future, however there may be a bit of hope.
With the current wave of terror that has been thrust upon our country I feel that the American society has sparked a new respect for each other, for human life. I know that the talk of more killing and war is all we hear about now, and probably will be for a long time to come. There is still a renewed attitude of care and respect for each other. When was the last time we have seen not only our nation, but people share more, give more, and support each other more for as long as we have these last 4 weeks?
I don't see this compassion diminishing any time soon. I believe that the one good thing that has come from out of this horrible astounding act of terrorism, is we have re discovered our passion for people, our neighbors, friends and those in need.
I didn't want to get on a soap box...I wanted to thank you for your reply. I love online classes for this exact reason, we as students can support each other much better than we can in class.
