SOC 204 Online Students,

Welcome to the SOC 204 Online WebBoard. We will use this WebBoard to communicate with each other throughout the term. As you'll see, there are a variety of tools available in WebBoard. Use of some of these will be required; others will be up to students in the course. You should take a few minutes to examine the various features, modify your profile, and learn how to use the conferences. After doing so, please post a response to this message, in which you introduce yourself; minimally you should tell us your name, the town you currently reside in, why you chose to take this course in an online format, and either your academic "major" and/or your academic goals. Please also share anything else about yourself that you think fellow students in this course should know at this time. You may even attach a picture of yourself if you wish (see above); if you do, please be sure to use good taste! And of course, please don't share anything that you don't wish to or that you think may be inappropriate.
