Here are some quick facts for the 2002
Softball Season.

Team fee of $340 is due Monday, May 6.
The season begins Sunday, May 19.
It ends August 25.
No games on Labor Day weekend Sept 1.
Tournament Sat and Sun, Sept 7 and 8,
14 and 15.

So far, this looks like 13 definite players
per game (8 men & 5 women) if
EVERYONE shows up for every game. Of
course, people will be missing games
during the season for planned vacations,
commitments, and emergencies, but I
think it would be a good idea to get a few
more players. Anyone have any people
they know who'd like to commit to the
team and play the entire season.

At 15 committed team members, the
team fees will be $23 per player. For
new players wanting a stylish Terrific
Titan shirt, contact Greg Evans at
evansg@lanecc.edu. I think the cost was
about $15 per shirt, sleeves or
sleeveless, S - M - L - XL.

FINALLY, I think that it would be a very
good idea to have a practice for an hour
or so this upcoming Saturday, May 4 at
10am at the Roosevelt Middle School ball
fields.
