Article 37 - Student Health Nurse/Athletic Trainer Working Conditions 37.1 Employees Affected. This Article shall be applicable to all regularly employed contracted Student Health Nurses/Athletic Trainers of Lane Community College employed in the Student Health Services/Athletic departments. 37.2 Exceptions. The following numbered Articles of the main collective bargaining agreement between the College and the LCCEA shall not be applicable to nurses or trainers: Articles 15 and 25. 37.3 Discharge for Just Cause. Nurses and athletic trainers may be discharged by the College for just cause. 37.4 Hiring Qualification. The College shall determine minimum hiring qualifications. 37.5 Promotions. The College shall determine the number of positions to be established in the departments. Qualified employees in the departments will be given first consideration for department promotions.
