A summary
of the agreements and the new contract
language are now available.The summary
will be helpful in getting a sense of the
amount of changes made, and it will alert
you to parts of the new agreements which
you will want to understand in more
detail.
The tentative
agreement is available here and will
be available in hard copy on request. The
new language still needs to be
ratified.
Health Insurance informational
meetings Tuesday & and other things
before the ratification vote Thursday and
Friday.
Tuesday (6-8-00) we will have several
health insurance informational
sessions:
Forum 308: 10:30-11:30; 1:00-2:00; and
3:00-4:00
This is important information because
we have a new "OEA-Choice" plan as an
option. In addition to a new plan,
everyone on an OEA-Choice plan will be
voting on the prescription card these
plans will support. These choices will
effect faculty out-of-pocket expenses. We
are also arranging an additional
enrollment period for people who want to
switch over before the fall.
We will have drop-in sessions all week
as well as discussion times on the
contract as a whole. The schedule is
