Thanks Joe!  Just out of curiosity can the grade book be set to 2 decimal places?  I sometimes have 5 or 10 point assignments where students end up with 3.75 points or 4.25.  (It sounds like this is a global change and not just an individual setting preference...)

Hello webmasters!

Last term when I used moodle for student grade entry (if I went in through the gradebook rather than through the assignment), it allowed me to enter in 1/2 points.  This summer for my classes it won't.  Sometimes it rounds 0.5 up (i.e. 61.5 becomes 62) but sometimes it rounds down (i.e. 18.5 become 18).  Do you know if there is a setting I can turn on to have it include 1/2 points in the calcuated grade or at least make the rounding  consistent?

PS I feel like I have a really good handle on the basics of moodle, but I would love to learn more tricks that I can do with it. Will you have a "tricks" for moodle class in the fall?
