Thanks Joe,
   I have actually assigned the Child Courses to my metacourse at least 3 times now. One question is,  will my third section of GS 142 (CRN 20859) that is incorrectly named on the Courses Available list cause me a problem if I add it to my GS 142 metacourse?   It is now labeled as GS 142(CRN 20859):ASTR 107 Astronomy (CRN 21676).  It should be GS 142(CRN 20859):GS 142Earth Science:Earth Revealed.

The 6 sections come from the two on the main campus and duplicates at C.Grove and Florence. Thanks, Mike

I've reassigned your GS 142 course so you can see it now. 
You have not yet assigned the Child Courses (the single CRNs) to each of those 2 metacourses yet. 
 
Are you really teaching 6 sections? 
 
Oh, and you (or I) CANNOT delete the grey hidden sections from your login and have your metacourses still work.

  I successfully created two metacourses.  Survey of Astronomy, ASTR 107 & 3 CRN's and Earth:Science GS142 and 3CRN's.  I even did some editing on each.  Today, Fri. 9- 15, my ASTR 107 is fine but I cannot access my GS142 Earth Science.  The screen says This course does not allow public access.  I am reasonably certain that I made them available to students etc. but I can' even see the course. 
 
 
  Also, I would like to clear all the other hidden sections under Courses from my Moodle Homepage. Can you/I do that?
