Hi David,

Sorry to hear about your condition.  I've had heat exhaustion a few times it sticks.  I guess you will have to pick up the exam on Wed. and turn it in on Thursday.  Remember there is the practical Wed. am.  Take care.

Hi Julie,
     I am writing you to let you know that I will not be in class today.  To
make a very long story short, I was out at the overturned gasoling tanker on
Hwy 126 last night, got heat exhaustion (worst I've ever had), and spent the
night throwing-up every hour or so.  So, I'm in no condition to come to class,
let alone work on a test.  
     I am at your mercy.  What ever you think is fair, I'll do the best I can. 
If you want to write me back, or call me (later this afternoon, please), or
whatever.
