Joe,

Sorry to keep bugging you, but I have a few more questions about Moodle. These mainly relate to the "Message" feature (sending email from Moodle, etc.).

**Problem/Question #1** When I attempt to send myself an email from Moodle, after I hit the "send" button, I get an error message that says, "Something went wrong while messaging selected users. Some may have received the email." I tried sending myself a message a couple of times and the same thing happened both times. And, indeed, I never got the email here in my GroupWise inbox.

So, I'm wondering if there might be a glitch in the system, or my course, or something. I'm pretty worried about this, because when I teach writing, I use email a lot to give extensive written feedback to students on their essays. 

**Problem/Question #2** As far as I can tell, Moodle does not save sent email. Presumably, users have to email the message from their home email accounts to have a sent copy of the message. (Is this correct?) 

**Problem/Question #3** On being "subscribed" to a forum: I just want to make sure I understand what this means. Does it mean that the recipient, if s/he is subscribed, receives emailed copies of the forum posts in his/her email? And do students decide themselves whether or not they want to be subscribed to the forums, or do instructors have control over this?
