So when "Scores" is checked and nothing else, students should indeed only be allowed to see the score. The one thing that might be a little confusing to students is the message that gets printed out, which is the following: "You are not allowed to view the questions or responses for this attempt at this time." That's because Moodle has the odd concept of letting students view stuff "later, while the quiz is still open," and the phrase is meant to cover both that contingency and the one where students can't see anything is after the quiz has closed. I'm trying to think of a more intuitive phrase, and will change it when I do.
