Annie,

The message you're seeing is governed by Firefox's browser settings, not by the Moodle server; there's what amounts to a timeout value that says 'if a script takes longer than X to respond, alert the user.'  You can change that value to give the script a longer time to finish before the browser throws up a warning.  To do that, do the following:

- Open a blank new window.
- Type about:config in the address bar and hit return.
- Find the line which says "dom.max_script_run_time" and double-click it; that will bring up a dialog box that allows you to enter a new value.  The default value is 10; you might want to try something like 50.
- Click OK.
- Quit and restart Firefox.
